Today I’m excited to bring you good news from the insurance world. As you all know, a national stay-at-home quarantine has resulted in less driving during this time. Many of us are no longer driving our commute to work. We’re not traveling every night to sporting events. Nor are we going places for entertainment or socialization on the weekends. Less drivers on the road has decreased the amount of accidents which is one positive we’re seeing during this time. This also means, the insurance companies recognize this decrease and are taking steps to give back.
What do I need to do?
There is nothing you need to do to participate in the cash back incentive. You are automatically enrolled.
What am I getting back?
The cash back incentive is between 15-20% off your monthly premium for the months of April and May.
What if I pay in full for the year?
You are still receiving the discount even if you have already paid in full for the year. Your annual premium will be divided by 12 months, and then the discount applied to two of those values and given back accordingly.
How is the money coming back?
Each company is doing it a little differently. Most are applying a credit to your May and June bill. Some are sending checks in the mail or crediting cards / checking accounts based on how you normally pay. The best thing you can do is patiently keep your eye out over the next four weeks.
We know that this is a trying time and we are here to help in any way that we can. If you have questions regarding this incentive or any other concern, please email Kayla Gulick at kaylagulick@tnsig.com
